What you’ll need

  • Small-business size (self-certified in SAM)Routine
  • Site visit / pre-bid meetingRoutine

Routine means standard paperwork most established firms can handle. Real hurdle means something you may not have yet, such as bonds (the Miller Act requires performance and payment bonds on federal construction contracts over $150,000) or a specific certification. Every bidder also needs an active SAM.gov registration. These items come from keyword rules on the notice text, so read the full solicitation.

Under-bid signal

Deadline pushed back 34 days after the original Oct 6 due date had passed. This is a sign the agency may want more bidders. SAM.gov does not publish bid counts, so treat it as a signal, not a fact.
